It took a lot of effort to determine which ones met our standards, and which ones did not. Let's put it this way: It could only happen in Santa Claus, Indiana! Something else happening there, too: Santa's Candy Castle is open for the season!

  • Storybookland, Cardiff, NJ --- that's Santa's Atlantic City home (which is good news for us Elves!).
  • Santa's Workshop Highway 24, North Pole, Colorado --- the Boss' Kingdom in the Rocky Mountains, near Denver!
  • Santa's Workshop, North Pole, NY --- close to Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain, this is the park considered by most theme-park historians as America's first great theme park.... i.e., the one that started the whole theme-park industry to begin with.
  • Santa's Village, Jefferson, NH --- This Realm for Santa is located near the Canadian-American border.
  • Christmas (and the rest of the year) @ Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, TN --- Santa and Dolly Parton. What more do you need to know? Pigeon Forge is also home to The Incredible Christmas Place and The Inn @ Christmas Place!
  • The Land of Make-Believe, Lodi, NJ --- Home of Santa's Barn and Petting Zoo, and one of New Jersey's favorite places for fun & enchantment!
  • SixFlags.com tells you more about the first Six Flags park, Six Flags Over Texas @ Arlington --- home of the Holiday in the Park Christmas Festivals, another Santa-themed event which speaks for itself.
  • The Rise and Fall of Santa's Village, East Dundee, IL --- This Kingdom for the Boss, located close to Chicago, was part of the Illinois lifestyle for close to half a century. Alas, toward late December 2006, Phil Wenz, aka Mr. Santa, ultimately failed in his final bid to rescue the park --- or did he? Anyway, here is the website that tells three stories: Glenn Holland's dream, how Mr. Santa waged that battle to keep the flame burning, and how that battle was eventually doomed to failure... or was it?

  • NORAD's Santa Tracking Center --- The joint U.S.-Canadian satellite tracking system always keep its eyes ready to spot Santa's sleigh, even after having shut down their Cheyenne Mountain headquarters, near Colorado Springs, Colorado. Now in its 57th season, NORAD's Santa Squad continues to monitor the Jolly Old Elf as he makes his rounds, taking the challenge on every Christmas Eve in a fast-paced, unexpected format!
  • DFW SantaTracker --- And our NORAD friends aren't the only ones scanning the skies for Santa (you probably already suspected that!) --- because Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport has its own SantaTracking unit, too!
  • Santa's CyberSleigh --- It's sleek. It's fast. It's out of this Multiverse! And while it doesn't exactly replace the Patchmobile, there is a story behind this awesome vehicle! Check it out!
  • Rick Goldschmidt's "The Enchanted World of Rankin/Bass" --- Nobody else knows his way around Rudolph and Frosty the way Rick does! Based on his book, Rick's site is for everybody who has ever wanted to get up close to the many series and specials developed by animation pioneers Arthur Rankin, Jr. and Jules Bass!   • Speaking of Kingdoms: In the Kingdom of Forever, Santa is also known as King Nicholas. He and his Queen, the lovely Vivianne, have a daughter: Holly Claus, the Christmas Princess!   • The Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular, starring the Rockettes --- New York's biggest and best holiday jamboree is connected to Santa Claus: The Movie in that an on-film series of excerpts from the film's "Sleigh Ride Over Manhattan" sequence used to open the show every night! (Our pal Charles Edward Hall is the longest-serving Santa Claus in Radio City history, having taken on the part for 23 seasons!)   • SantaAtlanta.com --- Atlanta/Fulton County, GA: these are your Santas, and SantaAtlanta is the home of the Brotherhood of the Direct Descendants of Santa! Their site tells you what they'll be up to this holiday! Several members of SantaAtlanta are also connected with the Georgia State Association of Real-Bearded Santas! They even have their own newsletter, the Red Suit Gazette!
  • Planet Christmas --- Not too sure about this one, but it has to do with a guy from Tennessee named Chuck Smith who just looooooves Christmas lights. And there's even more lights on the Tacky Light Tour!
